How to install a font under Mac OS?
Mac OS X recognizes TrueType and OpenType fonts
Under Mac OS X 10.3 or above (including the FontBook) :
Double-click the font file > "Install font" button at the bottom of the preview.
Under any version of Mac OS X:
Put the files into /Library/Fonts (for all users),
or into /Users/Your_username/Library/Fonts (for you only).

Yes Windows 7 also working.
try after restart your matchine.
Some times chrome browser get a problem.but it can fix by erase chrome old browasing data.
(you can do it by press -> settings-under the hood- clear browsing data)

Im using a nokia N series. Pls let us know hw 2 instal sinhala fonts 2 da phon. Or else update ur site in english also..
As ur site is most popular n have high views per day, i recomend u 2 update da site in english too.for further succes of ur site n it wil convinient 2 non sinhala users also..

for Linux users;
1. download the font "gossiplanka.ttf". In my case, it's saved to /home//Desktop.
2. create a directory called ".fonts" in your home directory. remember the dot at the begining. (eg: /home//.fonts)
3. copy the file to from the Desktop to the .fonts directory
4. Refresh the web page. Thats it!!!
Note: the ".fonts" directory will not be displayed as it's hidden. So it's better if u can use the terminal to copy the file. Here's the all terminal commands u required. should be replaced with your username
mkdir /home//.fonts
cp /home//Desktop/gossiplanka.ttf /home//.fonts/gossiplanka.ttf

clik the button, then It'll download, then u'll have to right click and select open containing folder.U'll find the font icon there. copy it and save it in the control planet (fonts)

One of the Easiest ways to install this font in Ubuntu..
1. Download gossiplanka.ttf
2. Open it with "FontViewer"
3. Use "Install Font" button to install the font
4. Regenerate font cache without restarting,
Enter " fc-cache -fv " in terminal(without quotes)..

For Ubuntu users...
Press Alt + F2 and type "gksu nautilus" without double quotes. Then locate /usr/share/fonts/truetype folder. Paste "gossiplanka.ttf" file anywhere inside the folder. Close the window and open the Terminal. Enter this command and execute:
sudo fc-cache -f -v

im using firefox and it got update yesterday to new version 5.0 now font is not working i reinstall the font and tried to paste in font folder also but still its not working. im using winxp svpack 3.. please do somthing. but the page load correctly in iexplorer
